Reaching the 4th stage in the progress bar secures the Catmageddon Bonus Round, and the feature starts with a random premium cat symbol of size 2x2 being placed at the bottom of the grid.

The regular symbols drop down after that, and only symbols that match the 2x2 sized symbol accumulate while the other symbols are removed per spin.

The non-matching symbols are inactive, which means that no wins are created until the end of the bonus round. The free spins go on as long as you keep landing at least 1 new matching symbol, and the 2x2 symbol grows if surrounded by matching symbols. The adjacent symbols merge to create up to a 7x7 sized symbol, and the win multiplier equals the size as in 7x7 gives you an x7 multiplier. Your win is summed up when you land a spin with no new matching symbols.

The math model is not strong enough for that, but if you’re looking for some comfort in a cruel world, well, you can’t go wrong here.

The combination of a Pay Anywhere system and winning symbol collection modifiers is hardly new, and games like Reactoonz come to mind.

The modifiers can prolong your winning streak, which can lead to more modifiers, and hopefully take you all the way to the Catmageddon bonus round.
